I definitely am going to try to get to DragonCon this year. We need to get together and toast Alec and Propworx!

Labor Day weekend... in ATL. Went to it for the first time last year, and had a great time!

Hotels are a bitch to get in the convention area, but... I believe we may have a few extra rooms booked at the Hilton if others are interested.

Rip

I'd definitely be interested if you know of some space. My wife and I are working on a vacation coming up in June, and we keep forgetting to check the hotel rates (she's a travel agent). I'll try and remind her to check today and see what she can find and let everyone know.

Cheers,

Guy

In the ATL?! It would be fun though. Where are you located at Rip? I guess I could just look at your profiles and figure it out.-C

DFW = Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas... aka "The Metroplex".

DragonCon hotels

Post  scarlett on Wed Mar 31, 2010 1:36 am

The conference hotels are all full at this point. Yes Rip is right, I am holding 4 rooms (maximum they would let me book)...hitting redial 1000 times to get through! They are at the Hilton missed out on The Marriott which filled up in about 10 minutes of booking opening, The Hilton is connected by a walkway to the Marriott and connected to the Rail Station by a walkway. Very convenient.

Contact me directly if you are interested in a room, it's was a blast last year and the people watching was amazing. Smile

Hope to see some of you at DragonCon....register online and you can save money on the registration fee.

Apparently Richard Match -Tom Zarek- was supposed to be here at the Montreal comic-con, but all information about that seems to have dissapeared in the last two weeks or so as if it was never there.

I have been concidering mailing one of my props to a trustworthy member to get it signed for me.
I would have loved to go to the Toronto comic-con, but that was smack in middle of my college mid-term exams, and though it may not seem like it; falling back a year is not worth 3 battlestar cast signatures.
