Cylon War Print

Post  Legion on Thu Apr 08, 2010 10:10 pm

Well, as it turned out, my neighbor signed for the painting when UPS showed up...even though I didn't think that was legal. Luckily my neighbor and I are friends, so my wife picked it up and it was waiting for me when I came home just a short bit ago. I was a bit surprised at this though...

Really? 10? How did I end up with such a low number? I'm not complaining, mind you, but still...

Cheers,

Guy

I have number 210. I got it like a day before they took down the prints from the web page. But thats cool you got a low number one.

I really don't know how I got #10, but I'm certainly happy about it. Not that #10 is truly any different that #210, but it's just odd how, so long after the selling, I ended up with such a low number.

Alec probably held onto the first ten or so like the best bottles of wine in the Admiral's liquor cabinet!

Which is probably right next to his desk, which you're writing on, right? Twisted Evil Perhaps instead of a "best bottle of wine" maybe limoncello?

LOL - nah, I never bought the liquor cabinet. One of our regulars did, though, I remember. I believe she actually lived very near the auction site, in Pasadena. Beautiful piece but doesn't carry any real sentimental value for me personally.

Your right...I remember that now in some long ago thread. Dude, you've got his desk for god's sake! How much more sentimental can you get???? LOL It came with all that cool stuff on it, didn't it? I remember the pic from the catalog. I can just image you, Alec, and Damaris figuring out over lunch what you were going for.....that's just so damn awesome.
